Just saw this recently, Penfolds managed to fit another high-end tier of wines in bettween the Grange and the Bin 707 called The Max Schubert. The first from this tier is a Cabernet Shiraz blend (61% + 39%) from Barossa and Coonawarra at goes for a whopping $450/bottle! Is this the new “baby Grange”?
I will likely never know, at that price
I wonder how many bottles of that is already shipped to China…
